Black Beauty / Sensationnel Hair Awards were launched in
November 1995 as a platform for stylists who work with Afro textured hair to display their creative and styling skills.
The Black Beauty/ Sensationnel Hair Awards were the first competition to
recognize the diversity and intricacy of Afro hairdressing.
Black Beauty / Sensationnel Hair Awards is a photo styling competition open to salon based stylists (with the exception of Braids Stylist of the Year) It is now recognized as the premier event for the Afro hairdressing sector with hundreds of stylists attending the Awards Ceremony.
