If you need inspiration for a new hair colour, then check out this trend report by Jason Hogan, celebrity colourist at Josh Wood Atelier, who gives us his take on why warm natural colours are taking centre stage for winter hair.
“With hair colour trends we usually see an evolution of a style rather than a radical change. A/W 2020 has brought an added sense of naturalisation, it’s all about low maintenance future-proof hair colour.
Think rich deeper lowlights, soft mid-tone highlights with lots of shine, still keeping lots of contrast through the nape and on the face frame so when the hair moves or is tied back there is a lot of interest and colour variation. Everything blending and matching well with the natural hair for a beautiful grow-out. Natural, but not too natural or why bother!”
