What we thought of Patricia Bright’s new MAC Lipstick

Make-up artist @SandzMUA gives her verdict on the Patricia Bright/MAC lipstick collaboration

I’ve been following Patricia Bright’s journey for a while now and it’s been amazing watching all the moves she is making in the beauty and fashion industry.

When she announced that she had partnered with MAC to create her very own limited edition lipstick I had to run and get it before it sold out. Along with her lipstick, you can also by the Patricia Bright’s Favourites which is a collection of her favourite products from MAC.

As someone who loves nude and brown lipsticks, I was even more excited to see that @ThePatriciaBright Lipstick is a rich, warm chocolate-brown hue. The lipstick comes in the normal black MAC packaging, which I was slightly disappointed by, as I was expecting something more bespoke, seeing that it is a MAC Maker collaboration.

Anyway I digress, back to the lipstick. It is a very rich chocolate brown, which according to Patricia was inspired by the 90’s.  I absolutely loved it from the moment I put it on.  The lipstick is semi-matte and the texture feels very creamy and nourishing on the lips and is non-drying. The colour payoff is amazing, it’s very highly pigmented, which is perfect as you don’t need to layer it on.  I really like the shade against my skin tone and it’s the type of brown that will look good on everyone.

Here’s what it looks like on me. Have you tried it yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
