Jaha Dukureh and Cindy Bruna become the latest International Spokespersons for L’Oreal Paris
L’Oréal Paris has announced activists Jaha Dukureh (left) and Cindy Bruna (right) as its newest International Spokespersons. Jaha is a leader in the global movement to end female genital mutilation and child marriage, she has succeeded in changing laws, was named a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Africa and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Jaha becomes the first L’Oréal Paris Woman of Worth honoree to be named a global brand ambassador.
Cindy’s Congolese roots and determination have made her a pioneer for equal opportunities for black women in fashion. She shone a light on hair discrimination in the industry and was among the first models to walk the fashion runway with her natural afro hair.
