Deep Conditioning Just Got Better

Digital editor Vanessa puts the microwaveable deep conditioning heat cap by Hot Head Thermal Hair Care through its paces

Hot Head Thermal Hair Care Heat Caps

The microwaveable deep conditioning heat cap by Hot Head Thermal Hair Care has changed deep conditioning for the better. Spending hours under a hooded dryer to steam treat your hair is a thing of the past.

Week 1

Deep conditioners are one of the most beneficial hair products a woman can own. From repairing colour damage, to restoring hair health, a deep conditioner or hair masque can transform even the most solemn and beyond return locks. Add your deep conditioner to some indirect heat or steam, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for hair success. I tried the Hot Head Thermal Hair Care Heat Cap to see if I could give my hair the boost it so desperately needed.

As I have very low porosity hair, I deep condition my hair once a week. I find if I deep condition less than that, my hair really cries out for it. I tried the hot head with my three favourite hair masques; ORS Olive Oil Masque (which I can’t live without), the Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Intensive Repair Conditioning Masque (a new hair masque I have started using intermittently) and my trusty Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Masque.

My hair is less tangled than usual and there is definitely a moisture boost in my hair – one I have never been able to achieve before. I find that the hair on the right side of my temple never seems to show any signs of improvement with previous deep conditioning attempts however it looks like the Hot Head has changed that.

Week 2

Again favourable results and I’ve noticed that the hair at the root is getting some love too. I have very thick hair and find product distribution quite hit and miss. The Hot Head keeps the product warm and my hair moist meaning it seeps right down to my scalp and no part of your hair is missed out. Not only are you saving on product but you’re also getting the very best out of your product

Week 3

The Hot Head has definitely become a staple item in my hair care routine and I’m just upset that I didn’t use this sooner on. If you’re looking for an improvement in your hair care regime then I recommend you get your hands on the Hot Head. Try out different deep conditioners depending on the requirements of your hair and see which one works best.
