Taraji P Henson– Presenter
To create Taraji’s look, I prepped her hair with moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, then added mousse before using the FHI Heat Platform Nano Salon Pro 2000 hairdryer to diffuse and set the curl. I took random sections and wrapped the hair around an FHI Heat Platform 3/4 inch curling iron to define the curl pattern. I finished the look by creating a low messy braid, making it really textured with some face framing tendrils. My inspiration was a whimsical fairytale which had a lot to do with the dress. The dress is very detailed with flowers. So so beautiful!

Adina Porter– Best Supporting Actress nominee
For Adina’s look, we were inspired by the African Queen Nefertiti.
To create Adina’s look, I first shampooed and conditioned the hair. Next I applied a dime-sized amount of heat protector serum and blow dried her hair using the FHI Heat Platform Nano Salon Pro 2000 hair dryer.
Next, I used the FHI Heat Platform 3/4” Curling Iron to create texture in her hair. I sectioned the hair into 3 ponytails and wrapped Indique Organic Curl around the ponytails. Then, I used hair spray to set and brushed the hair into a faux hawk. To finish, I created fishtail textured braids and made large Bantu style knots.[/one_half][one_half_last padding=”0 0px 0 0″][/one_half_last]
