NHS Offers Help to Victims of Sexual Abuse and Assault

More than half of people do not come forward for help after experiencing sexual assault or abuse. NHS want to make it clear: we are here, turn to us

You can turn to the NHS for 24/7 medical, emotional or practical support at your nearest sexual assault referral centre (SARC). Search SARC or visit NHS.uk/SARCs for more information and to find your nearest centre. The NHS are launching this campaign with the message: ‘We are here.’

More than half of people do not come forward for help after experiencing sexual assault or abuse. The NHS want to make it clear: we are here, turn to us. SARCs offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been raped sexually assaulted or abused.
