Be licious launches to revolutionise the way that freelance beauticians connect with potential customers
Be licious, a new beauty app has launched to revolutionise the way that freelance beauticians connect with potential customers and secure bookings. Be Licious is the first of its kind on the market and is set to shake up the beauty industry. Suitable for hairdressers, beauticians and make-up artists, Be Licious puts these freelancers in direct contact with potential customers in an efficient and safe way, for just a small cost of £3 to the therapist per booking.
The app, which has just launched to the hair, make-up and beauty industries aims to help freelancers grow their business and secure bookings. Be Licious gives clients the flexibility to book their desired treatment on the go, and at any time.
There are two apps which are free to download and use – one for the end customer and one for business owners.
The business app allows beauticians and freelancers to manage their bookings and profiles, including treatment details and qualifications. Every booking that comes in for a freelancer must be accepted before the £3 flat fee is charged. This gives the beauticians the flexibility to accept or decline a treatment depending on location and personal circumstances. The fee does not increase depending on the treatment booked.
The second app is for the clients. Users can find the perfect therapist based on qualifications, products used and photos of their previous work. They can then book and pay for their treatment and read any reviews of the freelancer via the app, adding a level of security.
Daniel Washbrook, co-founder of Be Licious, comments: “We are delighted to be launching Be Licious to the beauty industry. Freelancers often do not have the time to spend hours every week searching for new clients, so this is where we come in. When a freelancer signs up to Be Licious, they will be promoted across our website, social media channels and in newsletters so that potential customers have a number of ways to find them before visiting the app and booking.”
