Meet Lara and Mara the supermodel twin sisters

Twins Lara and Mara are redefining beauty on the catwalk with their own look

With a long list of fashion’s biggest names under their belt, these two are certainly ones to watch.

Born and raised in Sãu Paulo, with parents of West African descent, Lara and Mara rose to fame back in 2016, after the release of stunning stills captured by Swiss photographer Vinicius Terranova, surfaced the internet. Terranova photographed the albino beauties alongside their older sister Sheila who’s also a model, for a personal project titled Rare Flowers. An enchanting concept which he described as art, highlighting the true beauty in diversity, through the nature of the sisters’ contrasting complexions.

Since then the tenacious twosome have raked in mass followers on Instagram and have modelled for likes of Nike, Insanis, and Bazaar Kids who are all captivated by the twins’ mesmerising look.

  • Beautiful photos!!!
I would love to give my 3 children a chance to model. I have 2 boys and 1 girl that have potential and are beautiful from head to toe. I would like connections to agencies predominantly black owned and operated. I reside in Ohio, and not really sure where to begin. If able, could I be email connections so that I may begin the journey for them finding their beauty and professionalism within the industry.
