Sony Pictures’ musical biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody, celebrates the life and art of Whitney Houston, one of the top pop/R&B artists of the 20th Century. The M·A·C X Whitney Houston collaboration highlights her iconic style and beauty with a limited-edition makeup collection.
Whitney’s signature pout is at the M·A·C collection’s heart. Many of the colours in the collection use ‘Nippy’ the singer’s nickname. The four lipsticks range from Nippy’s Moody Nude and Nippy’s Rose to the deeply pigmented hot reds of Nippy’s Feisty Red and Nippy’s Sensual Red (£22 each). Adding extra shine are two starlit Lipglass shades – Nippy’s Shimmery Gold and Nippy’s Shimmery Cinnamon (£20 each). As for eyes, it’s all about a palette of eight shadows that goes definitive on Whitney’s smoky stare. Colours in Whitney’s Nippy Eye-Conic Palette (£36) range from the perfect bone beige, carbon black, taupes, browns, greys and molten metallics. These smouldering stalwarts are all you need to achieve Whitney’s memorable glam eye look.
And to bring on Houston’s famous glow, a pair of Powder Blush shades in Nippy’s Plum Rose and Nippy’s Pink Rose (£26) and a golden bronze Extra Dimension Skinfinish (£30) have been formulated to level up on the marquee-worthy shine.
