MAC Cosmetics collabs with influencer Patricia Bright

Patricia Bright is a new MAC Maker and talks about her new lipstick collaboration with the beauty brand

What does it mean to partner with M·A·C on this collaboration and create your own lipstick?
This is a really great opportunity to work with one of the most influential and pioneering artistic makeup brands of all time. M·A·C is a household name and I’m super proud of having the chance to make this happen.

What is your first memory of M·A·C? Was it significant in the start of your career?
Its vibrance and diversity. I remember the colours and the imagery and I recall thinking that M·A·C was one of the first brands that represented me. Definitely significant. At the time, owning M·A·C makeup was like the holy grail because I couldn’t afford it, but I saved and saved and finally got my hands on some product; I really felt like I had made it!

What is the inspiration behind your lipstick shade and how did you define which texture you wanted?
It’s a throwback to the 90’s. This was a time where lots of strong powerful women were in the mainstream wearing iconic browns. I loved it! Colour payoff is really important to me, as is staying power and the ability to mix things
up. I think matte gives you the best of both worlds, you can wear it the way it comes, or throw a gloss over the top. Either way you get a fabulous finish without losing the impact of the shade.

  • I'm a PB fan on YouTube and have followed her forever! She is talented, witty, and a self-made business woman. Patricia has worked very hard to establish her "brand" and has a stable support system (headed by her man) in place. I'm a bit too old to be in her demographic target audience but that doesn't stop me from enjoying her antics on social media. GOOD LUCK PATRICIA...You deserve it!

  • Lover her!! ...she's the first YouTuber I ever followed, from yearsssssss ago. It's funny as I was looking for videos on outfits and Patricia popped up. I will be supporting and I've been waiting for nude/brown colour so can't wait to purchase! GO P!!! xxxx
