One of London’s most sought-after bridal make-up artists, Joy Adenuga, has joined forces with Clinique to create stunning make-up tutorials
Joy Adenuga has been on our radar for a hot minute. She’s been the make-up artist for countless of Black Beauty & Hair front covers, and with an Instagram following of 58k and counting, she’s on everyone’s radar too. And thats why Clinique head hunted her to be the leading make-up artist for their new video tutorials that focuses on women of colour.
Over the next few months, a series of videos will be posted on the Clinique website and social media platforms showing Joy work her magic in creating the latest make-up up looks using the Clinique range. That’s right ladies, Clinique can be used on darker skin tones and produces some stunning results. In fact, our deputy editor Jemima Cousins is a huge fan of the Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer.
‘I really like the thick consistency of this liquid foundation. It covers all my blemishes and evens out my skin tone without giving me the caked on feeling I sometimes get when wearing a concealer sonf foundation.’
Joy invited BBH to the Estee Lauder HQ for an exclusive behind the scene peek at her making her first tutorial. The bridal mua recommends Clinique make-up because it’s suitable for all skins types both young and mature. ‘Many tend to think Clinique just specialise in skin care and won’t consider exploring their make-up line. With these videos I want to change that outlook and demonstrate how you make the shades work for you.’
